Aesthetic Experience

Today we all went outside to have an Aesthetic experience. To me, I felt as if I was in the cup myself. It seemed as if I wa in a cyclone of a rainbow that seemed to swirl faster and faster, never ending. As the different colors continue to swirl I get lost in time.

SHADOWS AND REFLECTIONS

In these exercises we learned how to create shadows and reflections to help us create more realistic artwork. A new tool we learned was layer masks. -The things we learned here can help me in the future by giving me an option of changing positions of objects and making them look more realistic, because of how we learned how to change the shadow to look like the object. It also helped me because we now I know how to make an object have a reflection, but it can even make an object invisible.

Aged Photo

In this project we used one of our frame photographs to practice using Photoshop to create tears and drip and coffee stains. I thought it looked really cool because of how real it looks.

HYBRID

To be ready for our PERSONAL METAPHOR project we brushed up our skills combining objects together. Using layer masks and the clone stamp we blended this dog and bird together. I thought it was fun because of how well both the dog and bird went together.

RANDOM OBJECT

We were each assigned a random object to photograph. We could choose to have it in color or black & white. We were to focus on "The Three C's".-According to my peers, one thing I did well was on my possitioning/angle of my photo. Something they suggested I work on was my environment and to know when to use black and white.-I agree because i chose a different sort of angle and i thought it could go either way. I also think i should have made ir black and white to give it a better affect.

Balanced

In this picture we were given a frame and told we had to be in our composition,it had to be black and white and it had to have balance. I created balance in the picture by standing to the left, leading you to the right because of the color contrast to bright light. Also, because the sidewalk lines lead you through the picture.

NOT BALANCED

We were given a frame and told we had to be in our composition,it had to be black and white and it had to have NO balance. I tried to create an UNbalanced picture by standing to the left and infront of a blank wall, but it didn't seem so offbalanced, because of the fact that the lines from the wall were leading to the right.
